On June 20, 2018, Demario and longtime friend Josh Norman of the Washington Redskins filled six shopping carts of water, snacks, toiletries, blankets, toys, pencils and more all for children of RAICES (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services), a local nonprofit in San Antonio, TX.

"Mission First houses the Devoted Dreamers Academy, the summer program Davis has run for six years that provides underprivileged kids with teaching in everything from reading to finances to vehicle repair. A week like this is how Davis spends his offseasons. "I believe life is all about what you do to impact other individuals," Davis said. "It’s not about yourself."

"Norman and Davis landed in San Antonio this past Tuesday night and went straight from the airport to a Wal-Mart. From 11:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., the two crammed six shopping carts full of toiletries, snacks, water, juice, blankets, coloring books, markers, pencils, crayons, toys, soccer balls and backpacks."

"Davis kept building from there, starting his own summer camp for sixth through eighth graders back in his hometown of Brandon, Mississippi. The camp goes beyond a traditional summer program, combining not only athletics, but educational and character-building elements as well."

So the Next Generation would know them, Even the Children yet to be Born, and They in turn would tell their children.
