WHO ARE WE

ABOUT US

Devoted Dreamers Foundation founded in 2013 by Demario Davis and his wife Tamela. Demario, who grew up in an impoverished environment, was always a talented athlete and excelled in school. However, the influence of his surroundings led him to drugs, alcohol, gangs, violence and eventually jail. In 2008, while a student at Arkansas State University, Demario was shepherded into a relationship with Jesus Christ by the team chaplain. As the transformation took place in his heart, his life was transformed as well. Demario soon realized he had a heart to reach not only his teammates, but the next generation of leaders for the Kingdom of God. Demario, along with his wife, want to impact generations the way he was impacted by the Gospel.

OUR IMPACT

College Acceptance for 7 v 7 athletes since 2019.

7 v 7 athletes received scholarships to D1 programs including Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, LSU and Ole Miss.

More than 1000 kids served since 2013 though DDA summer program, the Encounter Conference, a youth football camp, P.E.A.R.L.S. for Girls and 7 v 7.

7 V 7 Elite Sports Team

The mentorship program is formed through tryouts of the best athletes across the state of Mississippi and prepares participants academically, athletically, and spiritually.

builds character through inspiring and motivating young ladies to understand their true identity.

Devoted Dreamers Camp

A 4-week summer program for youth entering grades 6th-8th that places emphasis on financial literacy, reading comprehension, physical fitness, and character development.

2013 Foundation hosts inaugural Devoted Dreamers Academy once a week during the summer
2017 - First hometown youth football camp
2018 – Devoted Dreamers Academy becomes a 7-week summer program
2020 - P.E.A.R.L.S. for Girls joins the Devoted Dreamers Foundation
2017 - Encounter Conference held in hometown of Brandon, MS
2019 - 7 v 7 Elite Sports team created. Finish season ranked #1 in MS
In the year of virtual events P.E.A.R.L.S. for Girls hosts #SocialSummer, the foundation’s first online event
2021 – Host a state-wide flag football tournament
2021 – Encounter Conference extends to a full day ministry event
2022 – Year-round tutoring program from DDA
2022 – Encounter Conference becomes a gospel music and contemporary worship music event
2025 – DDA School of Arts fall program
2025 – Establish nationwide chapters of P.E.A.R.L.S. for Girls
2028 – Host the high school state Combine
2028 – Devoted Dreamers School
2028 – P.E.A.R.L.S. for Girls to host a two-day conference for member chapters
2028 – Discipleship and evangelism training summer camp through Encounter Conference
